Music offers children a very different pathway to success. Children can realise more of their true potential through engaging in musical activities, helping develop skills and learning behaviours that will serve them well in every area of learning and promote positive wellbeing.

Our curriculum has been designed and developed by Mr Cummings at REC MUSIC LTD (our Music Specialist) who delivers Whole School Provision, one day a week. The children are thriving and enjoying their music sessions, gaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of many aspects of music.

Every year group has explicit teaching of at least 2 instruments each year and a singing unit. These skills and knowledge are intertwined through the Curriculum and built on each year to continually progress their musical abilities and understanding.
