I would like you to listen to the story of - A Dot in the Snow by Corrinne Averiss and illustrated by Fiona Woodcock again today. When you have listened to it please complete these sentences by adding the correct word and then copying out the sentences correctly.







The polar bear used it’s  ____ to grab the fish.

The ice ____ when they walked across it.

The rock  ____ into the deep water.

The polar bear  _______ across the water.

After you have written the sentences can you please read the following words to the adult that is working with you.  Some of the words you will be able to sound out and blend back together.  You may need help from your adult to say some of the words.  When you have read them say what the words mean to the adult that is working with you.

The Learning objective for today's lesson is - Ordering two or more numbers within 10.  In this lesson, you will apply your knowledge of more and fewer to order two numbers within 10, using a number line for support.  You will then apply this skill to ordering three numbers within 10

Last week you started to learn about the Religion Islam. Today you are going look further at the Islam Religion.  I would like you to watch the video on the link below about prayers are important to people who follow the Islam faith.


The boy in the video had a special mat that he used when he was praying.  I would like you to design a prayer mat.




Thank you for emailing me your lovely art work of your polar bears last week.  They are all fantastic.  In the Arctic and places like Norway, Finland and Iceland in the sky at night you can see many colours called the Aurora or Northern Lights.
