DESIGN TECHNOLOGY

In this lesson you are going to think about which resources will help you to assemble your model lighthouse. In class, we began with a square of strong cardboard ( about 20cm x20cm) to be the base for the lighthouse. We then scrunched up paper to be the rocks that surround it. We used glue and paper strips to attach these to the base. How could you create the base? What could you glue on to it to look like rocks?

CLICK HERE to learn how to make papier mache paste using flour and water. You will need a grown up to help you with this.

This might help you to make the rocks for the base of your lighthouse.
