Friday

Good morning everyone, it's nearly the weekend so let's get learning.

Friday 19th June 2020

Hello Year Three, I hope you are all ok. Your learning challenges for today are below. Please use the class email address (year3@stmartinscofe.com) if you have any questions about your learning or if you want to share anything you have learned at home. Keep shining!

English

Please look at the document below, then choose some of the activities to do in your exercise book from school. You could share your learning with your teachers by asking a parent to help you send a picture of your learning to your class email address.

Today you will read a poem and answer reflective questions. You can then revise metaphors and similes and practise creating these for pets. You could also plan and write a poem about a pet.

Maths

Have a look at http://www.iseemaths.com/lessons34/ . First watch today's video, pausing it to try out ideas, then have a go yourself.

Why not try the maths challenges below with your family?

The most suitable questions for Year 3 are questions 1,2,3 and 4 but why don’t you work with your family on the rest of the problems. Do as many as you can! Help each other out. You can even print a certificate when you've finished!
