Good morning everyone I hope you had a restful weekend and are ready for a whole new week of learning.

This week we'll be doing some more work on natural disasters, looking at editing our writing and some more work on multiplication. We'll also be studying why the Bible is important to Christians and learning a bit more about how to look after our planet - after all where else can we live?

In our PE lesson we'll be focussing more on throwing and catching and our in science we'll be looking more closely at sedimentary rocks so you'll need your research from the other week to help. I'll also be including some practical ideas for your own experiments at home.

Today we'll be saving the world by reducing, reusing and recycling so check how well you do and how much you already know.

Today you will be partitioning 2 digit numbers to divide by a 1 digit number, e.g. 24 divided by 2 so 20 divided by 2 = 10, then 4 divided by 2 = 2 , then recombine so 10 + 2 = 12. Watch the video and complete the task, any questions just drop me an email as usual.

Today you will be putting together the sentences you planned last lesson to begin to write the ending to you story. Remember to use different sentence types.

Practical Maths

You can use any kind of cans for this activity but it will help if they're all the same size.

Landmark of the Week Spring 1 week 5. This week we're on another extinct volcano which is very famous in the Lake District....Isla, yet again, got Scafel Pike in the Lake District this week - well done Isla, very observant!
