Monday

Good morning Nursery,

I hope you all had a peaceful and safe half term. Firstly, I would like to begin by saying a huge thank you for all of the support from our families in our remote learning. I know at times it can be challenging, but I am so grateful for all of your commitment and interaction during these difficult times. We continue to miss the children greatly, but we hope you will continue to join us for our Google Meets for snack time and phonics.

This half term, our topic will be growing. We will begin by looking at how we grow as humans. For some of your learning this week, you will need some photographs of when you were a baby.

Remember to share your learning by email or on Tapestry.

If you have any questions or require any support, please send me an email to nursery@stmartinscofe.com, I monitor this throughout the day and will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Take care and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Miss Fabian

Virtual Snack Time Bring a healthy snack and join us for snack time at 9.30am. The link will be sent via Parentmail.
Phonics

At 11.30am, I will be hosting a live phonics session for the children who are learning at home. The link will be sent to you via Parentmail.

For today's session, you do not need any equipment, just a little space around you for one of the games that we will play.

If you would like to play a phonics game at home, click here for Phonics Play and choose one of the Phase 1 interactive games. Phonics Play is currently free with the username: jan21 and the password: home

Motor Skills

Use a paintbrush and some water to make some of the patterns from your pattern card on the floor or wall outside. Make the patterns as large as you can to really get your shoulders moving.

Maths

Today we are continuing our learning in the phase "It's me 1,2,3"

Topic - Vocabulary Detectives

As we did with the word "celebrate" last week, I would once again like you to become a vocabulary detective and this time I would like you to investigate the word "growing".

If you need to remind yourself how to approach this task, click here for last weeks learning.

Bring your vocabulary detectives learning to snack time tomorrow.
