Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good weekend. We are on our last home learning lessons hopefully for good so make the most of this week of relative freedom before you're back in school and sticking to a timetable.

This week you will be continuing your report in English and continuing with time in maths. We will also be carrying on with our learning about the Ancient Greeks.

We're still on time this week and starting off with measuring time in seconds, so remember there are 60 seconds to a minute.

Today you are planning the first section of your report using some of the vocabulary and sentence types you have been taught.

Today you will be delving deeper into the world of suffixes and their uses.

Practical Maths

Today you will be looking at time again but this time it's going to be a bit different and linked to different activities. So I'd like to know:

  • how many laps of your garden in 1 minute
  • how many jumps in 1 minute
  • how many times can you clap your hands in 1 minute
  • how long can you stand on one leg without falling over or putting your foot down - no cheating!
  • how many times can you write your name in one minute

and so on......

If you can think of any others that would be fantastic and worth a merit if it's a good one!

Landmark of the Week Spring 2 Week 2. This is a building that was built in the Greek style using columns. It is in London and is a very important and safe place for savers.......
