Hi Year 1!

Today we are going to be learning about honeybees.

In English, I would like you to have a look at the information I have sent over and use it to label the parts of the bee.  Try to write a fact about the different parts of the honeybee's body on the bee paper.  Remember to form your letters correctly and sit them neatly on the lines.  Don't forget capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

In Maths, we are continuing with our Power Maths unit on addition.  Work through the teaching pages with your grown up before completing the practise sheets.

In Science, I would like you to have a look at the information I have given you about the life cycle of a bee.  Cut out and stick the pictures in the right order and use the bee paper to write a short explanation for each of the stages.

Don't forget to read your books - you can use Bug Club for different books too if you like!

For phonics, use https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/resources to practise your skills with phase 3 and 4 games.
