Good morning Year Six. Below you will find your learning challenges for today. Please remember to use our class email address if you have any questions about your learning. I would also really like to see any home learning you complete at home so if your adult allows you to, take a picture of your learning and send it to me on our email address. :)

Imagine you have a friend who is going through a difficult time at the moment.

Write a letter to your friend to let them know they can rely on you for support.

  • Appropriate level of formality
  • Range of Year 6 punctuation
  • Fronted adverbials
  • Joined handwriting



Use the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 to create five 6 digit numbers.

Write each number in digits.

Write each number in words.

Order them from smallest to largest.

Choose pairs of number to add using column addition.
