Hello Year 6! We hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
We are missing you all but looking forward to seeing you back in school on Wednesday.
There will be two live lessons today: Maths at 10am and English at 1pm, both with Mr. Harrop. Links will be sent out on Parentmail. If you are finding it difficult to access these lessons, or need to borrow a device, please ring school and we can help you. Purple Mash will be updated daily with tasks too - please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need your login details.
Please keep reading your home reading book as often as you can. You can quiz in the usual way in the 'Children' section of our website. You should all have full Bug Club book bags too, so you can read online - please message email@example.com if you need help with this.
Here is an Oak Academy lesson on reading for pleasure - something we are all working on at St. Martin's!
Here is the next science lesson on 'Evolution and Inheritance', the previous lesson was on Friday 21st January if you need a re-cap. It really supports our learning in geography from last week, when we were looking at Antarctic animals and their adaptations for living in such a cold place.
Spellings for next week are words with the long vowel sound /i/ spelt with a y.
Can you match the beginning sound to its ending? Please write the words down, then check your spelling.
