Today I would like you to say or sing the letters of the alphabet.  How Many letters of the alphabet are there?  Do you remember when we talked about the words called nouns that we use in our sentences?  A proper noun is the name of a person or place, such as Susan or America. Proper nouns start with a capital letter.   A common noun describes a class of objects and does not have a capital letter, for example: car, animal or planet.

Activity – Please write down the letters of the alphabet and write a proper noun and a common noun for each letter.

A = America                                 a = ant

Please can you tell the adult that is working with you the missing numbers on this 100 Square worksheet?  If you are able to print this 100 Square worksheet you can do that and then write in the missing numbers.

Please say or fill in the missing numbers.  When have said or completed the missing numbers you can then try the missing number worksheet.

Geography -  Google Earth

Find where you live on Google Earth. Zoom in and see what your house looks like in an aerial view. If you can, print it, and draw your route from your home to school or use paint on the computer to add it on. Can you find the shop, a café, a park or another  family member’s house?

Next can you learn your address?  You could cut it up and re-order it.   You can now learn St. Martin’s School address?
