Well done to these, and all of our children who have worked hard and done some amazing learning throughout this difficult year!

Good-bye and Good Luck

As we say a fond farewell to our Year 6 pupils, we wish them well.  We are sure that they are well prepared for their transition to secondary school, and wish them every success in whatever the future holds for them.

We will also be saying good-bye and good luck to Miss Benson and Miss Stubbs.  We wish them every happiness with all of their future ventures.

We hope everyone has a happy and successful future.

Year 5 Application to Secondary School Reminder

A reminder to all current Year 5 parent/carers.  All applications for secondary school need to be completed online via the Oldham council website.  This system will be open from 1st August and will close at 5pm on 31st October.  Please do not forget to apply to avoid not being allocated a school of your choice.

If you do not have access to the internet, there are computers in all Oldham libraries, where staff will be happy to help you.

School Dinners in September

Please note:

  • As from 1st September 2021, the Education Catering Service is increasing the cost of school meals to £13 per week.

  • All children moving up to Year 3 after the summer break will no longer be eligible for free school meals under the government programme.

If you wish to change your child’s provision for lunch, either from packed lunches to school dinners, or school dinners to packed lunches, please let Miss Fitzgerald know in the school office, giving at least one week’s notice.  This will ensure that enough meals are made in the school kitchen, and also that you are not continuing to be charged for meals if you are now providing a packed lunch.  If the office is unaware of a meal change, you will be liable for paying for the dinners that have been provided for your child!

Thank you

School Uniform

Uniform is currently available from Debonair in Oldham.

We always look forward to seeing all of our pupils looking smart in their full school uniform in September.

Every child should be wearing:

Yellow polo shirt or white shirt

Green sweat shirt or cardigan

Grey shirt or trousers

Black or grey socks

Black school shoes (not trainers)

PE kits are also part of the uniform, and should consist of:

White t-shirt

Green sports shorts

Black pumps and outdoor trainers

Please make sure that ALL of your child’s uniform is clearly labelled with their name to avoid any lost items.

Thank you.

Toys, Books and Dressing-Up Items

We are always very grateful for any donations of appropriate toys, books and dressing up clothes for our younger classes.  If you are planning a clear out over the summer and have any items that are still in good condition, please consider donating them to us for our younger children to enjoy.

Thank you

End of Year Message

We look forward to seeing you all in September!
