Our Christian theme this half term is: Truthfulness

Christmas Crafts:

Usually, towards the end of this term, we would invited parents into join the children taking part in Christmas craft afternoons.  Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions in place to avoid the spread of Covid, we will not be inviting visitors into school this year.  Our children, however, will still be taking part in Christmas crafts during the final couple of weeks this term.   As part of this, we will be decorating festive t-shirts again this year, which the children will be able to bring home at the end of term

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Dogs in the School Grounds:

We have noticed that there have been several pet dogs being brought into the school grounds when adults are coming to pick their children up.

We would like to remind you that, with the exception of guide dogs, DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON SCHOOL GROUNDS EVEN IF THEY ARE BEING CARRIED.

Although you may believe that your dog is not a threat to anyone, some of our children and grown-ups are extremely nervous around dogs, so this poses a problem for them.

Thank you for your continued support.

Spare Uniform:

If you have any spare school uniform that you no longer need and would fit our children, particularly our younger children, we would be very grateful for any donations.

Thank you.

Christmas Cards:

As we are an eco-school, we would like to ask that, instead of your child sending lots of cards to their friends in school, that they send only ONE card to the whole of their class from them.  This will be more environmentally friendly and, if they make their own card, much more fun!

Thank you!

Covid-19 Symptoms:

The official guidelines for needing to have a Corona Virus test states that you have to have one of the following symptoms:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back.
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things small or taste different to normal.

If you develop one or more of these symptoms you need to have a test, then you and everyone else in your household need to isolate until you receive your test result (usually24-48 hours).  .
