Maths

In Maths, we will be learning about numbers to 100. We will explore using number lines, compare numbers and order numbers.

English

In English, we will be learning to write a set of instructions about how to take care of an egg, and we will learn how to write a setting description.

Science 

Our Science unit for this half term is 'Growth and Survival'. We will be learning about how animals, including humans, grow and what they will need to survive. 

Geography

Our Geography unit is 'Our Wonderful World'. We will be learning about the 7 continents and finding out lots of different facts about physical and human features. 

PE

In this half term, we will be focusing on the fundamental skills of PE.

RE

Our key question we will be exploring this half term is 'Who is a Muslim and how do they live?'.

Music

In Music, we will be developing our singing skills by learning the song 'What a Wonderful World'. 

Art

In Art, we are learning to create maps using different techniques and materials. 

Computing 

This half term, we will be exploring coding in further detail - building on the previous knowledge the children learnt in year 1.
