School Lunches

You can find the Lunch Menus below.

KS1 children (infants) have lunch at 12.00.
Mid-day supervisors help children to choose which meal they want at the serving hatch.
Their tray will then be carried for them to the table.

KS2 children (juniors) are served at 12.30pm. on a rota basis.

School meals

At St. Martin's we are particularly pleased with the high standard of school meals which are prepared on the school premises.
A wide choice of hot and cold lunches, including vegetarian food is available.
If you wish your child to stay for school lunches please send the money into school on a Monday morning.
This should be in a sealed envelope with your child's name and class on it.
At present school meals are £2.00 per day. If you think your child may be eligible for free school meals please contact the Education Shop. It is important for the school that you apply for free school meals (if eligible) even if you decide to send your child with a packed lunch.

Packed lunches should be sent in suitable containers with no breakable bottles. We ask that children only change arrangements after a holiday. If a change is necessary please send a letter to the school secretary. We also need written notice if you are taking your child home for lunch

Milk is provided for nursery, reception and KS1. A small contribution is required towards this.

Children are allowed to bring snacks to school for the morning break. We encourage children to bring healthy snacks such as fruit.

All children in nursery and KS1 receive a free piece of fruit each day. This is through the National Fruit scheme.
