Little Polar Bear picturebook readaloud! Well crafted children's book - YouTube

This picture is taken from the book - The Little Polar Bear by Hans De Beer

Talk to the adult that is working with you about the above picture. What things can you see in it?  Ask the adult who is working with you to say some sentences about the picture. You can repeat each sentence and count the words before writing each sentence down correctly.

This is an example sentence.

The jungle is hot and North Pole is very cold.

Remember a sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.  Names of places and people start with a capital letter. Questions always end with a question mark.  Below is a table of words that you could use.

polar bear

palm trees

To help you spell the other words you need. You can use your phonics mat that has been put in your home learning pack.
