Virtual Snack Time

Bring a healthy snack and join us for snack time at 9.30am. The link will be sent via Parentmail.

You can also bring your "all about number 3" from yesterday's maths lesson.

Today we are learning about rhyme and rhythm.

Play the game "Whack-a-rhyme"

For this you will need a collection of objects from around your house - I would start with 5. Lay them out in from of you. Say each object by name first to ensure your child knows what they are. The adult then says a word that rhymes with one of the objects and the child taps the object that rhymes. The word you say doesn't need to be a real word it just needs to rhyme.

For example in the picture below, I had doll, cup, spoon, car and peg. If I said "leg" the child would tap the "peg". If I said "loll" the child would tap the "doll"

Motor Skills

Today we are going to get our whole bodies working by joining in this Cosmic Kids adventure.

Today we are continuing our learning in the phase "It's me 1,2,3". Today we are using our learning so far this week to sort 1, 2 and 3.

Junk Model Challenge

Using some old boxes or packaging from around your house, I would like you to have a go at making a model of your choice. In school we have enjoyed making cars and rockets, but there are lots of things that you can make with rubbish that needs recycling. If you need some ideas for creating, click on the links below:
