Tuesday

Hi Year 1!

Today we are going to be continuing our learning about honeybees.

In English, I would like you to read the information I have sent over with a grown up and use it answer the questions.  Try to use the information to write a fact file about the  honeybee on the bee paper.  Try to use headings for the different sections such as where they live and what they eat.  Remember to form your letters correctly and sit them neatly on the lines.  Don't forget capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

In Maths, we are continuing with our Power Maths unit on addition.  Work through the teaching pages with your grown up before completing the practise sheets.

In Science, I would like you to find out what pollination is and why bees are so important.  Watch the video and play the board game.  I have also given you the information for a science experiment linked to pollination if you would like to give it a go!

Don't forget to read your books - you can use Bug Club for different books too if you like!

For phonics, use https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/resources to practise your skills with phase 3 and 4 games.
