Tuesday 23rd Feb

Good morning :  ) Thank you for joining us. We hope that you are now back into the swing of home learning again. In class we enjoyed our lessons yesterday, particularly describing the characters from The Borrowers.

In Maths today we will continue to use the short division method. Remember your times tables facts will really help you with it. In English we will be using suffixes and the root words that go with them. We hoped you liked the reading task about Guide Dogs. I've included a video in the Brain Break Activities section that tells more about what they do. Our P.E. focus is to throw with accuracy. I've linked you to Mr Mulock's P.E. page for the first part of the lesson. Have a great day and keep in touch!

READING

Yesterday you read all about Guide Dogs and underlined then researched any new/unfamiliar words. Today your task is to label words with definitions. Keep referring back to yesterday's text to help you find the answers.

As always, don't forget to log into Bug Club to keep up with regular, daily independent reading.

P.E.

Last half term, we worked hard to develop a range of throws. This week we'll continue with this theme but we are practising throwing at a target and trying to be precise when we do so. We'll begin with Mr Mulock's  P.E. activity for Tuesday . To find it, follow these steps:

Covid-19 Home Learning  then click on P.E. then Tuesday's Home Gym Challenge

When you've completed this, follow this link to a video about throwing with accuracy.
