This week we are studying Skara Brae in the Orkney Islands. Skara Brae is the oldest known Stone Age settlement and was only discovered after a bad storm in 1850. Your homework this week and next is to create a Stone Age settlement as a project. It could look something like this:

Landmark of the Week. This week you will see a very famous building that was built by William the Conqueror shortly after the 1066 battle of Hastings. This building has seen many executions .....Verity correctly identified the Tower of London this week, home of many royal prisoners.
